The Ensemble Theatre seeks to fill full-time artistic staff positions of Artistic Associate and Education/ Young performers Program Director by May 2009. Open contract positions include: a pianist for The Wiz and a music teacher fur the summer youth program.

The Artistic Associate provides the managerial support necessary to the artistic department of the organization. To assist in the implementation and adherence of the philosophy, guidance and artistic leadership of the company. The artistic associate engages in any and all activities that contribute to the growth, and well being of the company. The position handles payroll information for each artistic component, contracts for all mainstage artists, the liaison between the theatre and all unions (society of stage and choreographer, actor’s equity, electrical designers), secures royalties for all plays produced by The Ensemble -coordinates play readings and handles all budgetary information and reconciliation for all artistic programs which includes mainstage, touring and the young performers program.
The Education/ Young Performer’s Program Director facilitates the education and touring component of the organization. This position is responsible for selling and booking the education and touring shows/residencies of the theatre through schools and community organizations; coordinate rehearsal and performance schedule between all invited artists, coordinate the production staff on all touring productions, facilitate contracts for artists, production staff, schools and others, facilitate payroll for all involved parties, and to provide an overview and support to the artistic team, meet designated budget and student ratio goals necessary to determine the success of the program. In addition this position coordinates the year round young performers program. The young performer’s program facilitator selects teaching and production staff, selects the plays that will be performed by the youth, manages the young performer’s budget, designs the curriculum, and oversees the young performers program.

The Ensemble Theatre seeks a music teach for the second session of its Young Performer's Program. The program session is July 6 - August 1, 2009.
